One of the most common and better man boobs exercises is the pulley crossover. Yet most guys don't see the potential of this exercise and don't use the different versions of it.



So here is how you should use the pulley cross over to reduce your man boobs:



1. Regular exercise - Take both pulleys in your hands. Lean forward while standing and slowly bring both hands to cross before you in a downward motion. Make sure to keep your elbows slightly bent to avoid injury. Alternate between both hands for top position in the cross. Bring your hands back to your side until you feel your chest muscles stretch. Repeat.



2. Center version - You can do the same exercise but instead of crossing your hands in a downward motion, cross them at the height of your chest in front of you. This will work a different area of the chest than the regular version.



3. Upper motion - To do this version, you need to bring your hands from the bottom (starting position is both hands near your thighs) and cross them before you in an upward motion.



Alternate between all 3 versions as they each work a different part of the chest muscles. Combine them with another chest exercise like the bench chest press to create a complete chest workout.

But don't do any old weight routines: focus on chest weight training exercises such as push-ups, chest flies, chest press and the chest crossover. When you do cardio workouts, do things in which your upper body is taking an active part such as swimming, running, walking and avoid routines like gym bicycles in which your upper body and chest muscles are stationary. Make sure to give your chest a complete workout both in terms of muscle development and in terms of chest fat loss.



While these exercises may not be able to totally eliminate your moobs, they can provide an excellent improvement in how your chest looks.

5. Crossover - this exercise is also known as the machine flies and it has a similar effect on your chest muscles as the regular chest flies.

How To Get Rid Of Man Boobs - The Power Of The Chest Flies Routine

Man boobs is a common condition among men of all ages. Experts maintain that 33%-40% of all men have Man Boobs to some degree during their life. Man boobs, which is medically known as Gynecomastia, is not given adequate medical treatment by the formal health organizations because it is not considered a disease, just a cosmetic condition. But those who suffer from man boobs know how hard it is, and while it may not be life threatening, it certainly destroys the quality of life, especially social life. Let's face it, most women don't find Man Boobs appealing.



One of the most immediate things men who suffer from man boobs can do in order to firm up their chests is to perform exercises which target the chest muscles. While exercise alone cannot eliminate man boobs entirely, it can certainly provide some improvement to those who suffer from man boobs while they begin a more complete treatment.



One of the best chest fitness exercises is the chest flies routine. But how should we perform this exercise to make the most of it and to lower the risk of injury? How to maximize its effectiveness on those stubborn deposits of chest fat?



You need a few things to perform chest flies:



1. A press bench. If you go to a gym they are bound to have a couple of those. If you want to buy one, make sure that you can rotate it to a recline and decline positions and for it to have room to place your legs to support you while in decline position.



2. You need dumbells. These can also be found in any sport store and are not very expensive.



Here are the 3 variations of the chest flies routine:



1. The straight back flies - You lie straight on your back on the press bench. Bring your feet to rest on the edge of the bench so your knees are folded straight up. This helps to keep your back from injury. Begin the routine by holding the dumbells straight above you. Then, lower them slowly to the sides of your body while keeping the elbows slightly bent, until you feel the chest muscles stretching. Bring them back up slowly until they almost touch. Repeat this 10-15 times. This variation works the central area of the chest. This variation is of medium difficulty.



2. The recline flies - Raise the back rest of the bench press. It should be between 30-45 degrees. Sit on the bench. Place your feet on a stool or some books in order to reduce the strain on your lower back. Perform the exercise the same way as in the straight back flies. Again repeat 10-15 times. This variation works the upper area of the chest. This variation is of high difficulty.



3. The decline flies - Lower the back rest of the press bench. Lie down on the bench. Peform the chest flies the same way you did with the straight back flies. Again, repeat 10 - 15 times. This variation works the lower area of the chest. This variation is of medium difficulty.



Some important tips:



1. Work slowly - the muscles work better when you to the sets slowly.



2. Work the chest once every 3 days. Working it more often will not allow the muscles enough rest in order to develop as they should.



3. When you raise the dumbells, don't bang them against each other. This sends an unhealthy vibration through your arms which may hurt your bones and tendons.



3. Do all 3 variations. All in all do 12-15 sets. That means 4 - 5 sets of each variation.



There you go. You can start doing chest flies and improve your man boobs. This will not eliminate your man boobs entirely. But it is a good place to start.

While this condition poses no health hazards, it is a source of great embarrassment and demolishes the self-confidence and social life of those who suffer from it.



There are a number of treatments for man boobs, but in this article I want to write about a fundamental exercise which helps reduce man boobs. While this exercise, by itself, will not eliminate your man boobs entirely, it is a step in the right direction and may provide a great degree of improvement.



I'm referring to push-ups. Yes, the old classic push-us exercise. Why are push-ups so effective in helping you to get rid of your man boobs? Because push-ups mainly work the chest muscles. If you exercise your chest it will become firmer and look much better.



There are several ways to do push-ups in order to target different areas of your chest:



1. The standard push-up with your feet and hands placed on the floor. This variation works the general chest muscles. This exercise is of medium difficulty.



2. Placing your hands on an elevated surface, such as a couch, and keeping your feet on the floor will tone the lower part of your chest more than the other parts. This version of the push-up is of low difficulty.



3. Placing your feet on an elevated surface and your hands on the floor will tone the upper part of your chest. This is an exercise of high difficulty. The higher your feet are, the more difficult the exercise will become.



I suggest doing sets of all 3 variations. This will give your pectorals an all around workout and will help reduce your man boobs.



Here are a few tips on how to safely perform push-ups:



1. Place your hands on the floor spaced at about the width of your shoulders. A too big a space between your hands will hurt your back, while placing your hands close to each other will mainly exercise your triceps and not your chest.



2. Don't put your hands with the palms straight down on the floor. This will strain your wrists and may cause painful inflammation. Work on your fists or buy push-up handles which can be found in any sporting goods store.



3. If your back starts to ache stop doing push-ups for a while.



Push-ups can be done almost anywhere. All you need is a floor and some determination.



If you really want to get rid of your man boobs, push-ups are a good place to start, but this is but the first step. There's no excuse for not working to eliminate your man boobs. A lot of men do it everyday. You can do it too.

3. Elliptical - The elliptical is a great way to raise your heart rate. Make sure that you move your arms while you do the elliptical because it will better workout your chest.



4. Swimming - I know that this is a bit awkward as most men with man boobs don't want to show their upper body in public. But swimming is truly a very good cardiovascular routine for reducing man boobs because it works the chest very well, especially the breast stroke.



These exercises will not eliminate your man boobs entirely, but they can be an excellent place to start.
